Stitch Designer App Reviews
This product is not user friendly if you are trying to design your own work. The undo function does not undo the last mark made, but randomly deletes from another point in the design. There are no icons (symbols) for the colour chart, a check mark show in the list but doesn’t apper in design. There in not earser tool and the user must use white in its place, this means that there is no option od having a white visible stitch. Print opition not easy to control, have not figure out how to print bigger than a thumb nail. Would not recommend to anyone. Regretting the buy.
This app claims that you can design from a blank grid, you can’t. Half of the features don’t work. It advises that there are new help files, unfortunatley I didn’t even see a help section. Don’t waste your money. I’m so upset I paid $8 for a barely working piece of junk app
This app is hard to understand and really glitchy. Several of the features simply don’t work. It crashes often, and when I try to open a saved file, I get the icon for Garage Band and a message asking if I want to download a new program. I really like the snap-to grid for the line making tool, but that’s about all I can recommend. Hoping the developer can work out the bugs.
I’m very disappointed after buying this product. The product claims that you can create from a blank canvas, but this is not the case. Trying to print is very strange. By default, the symbols/grid are huge, and you will waste multiple sheets of paper printing. If you scale the symbols down, the symbol icons will become non existent, or scaled in a non-uniform way (some X’s show as / or or not at all). I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing.. Look elsewhere for a OSX cross stitching software.
unfortunately does not work
Unfortunately, this app does not work as described. When I open a photo using the wizard, I only have two parts of the full app visible: the middle part displaying the image and the right side with the palette. But I don’t have the ‘picture’ and ‘embroidery’ on the left so I cannot change dimensions or the number of colors. And I cannot find a way to add those things, therefore it really is not useful and I cannot use it. or is there a way to fix this?
DON’T BUY THIS!!!
This is entirely user UN-friendly and a complete waste of money. I wish I would have read the other reviews before I wasted $12.99 for a program I kept on my laptop for less than an hour. What a waste!!!
Bleah!
Not user friendly. No user manual. I can’t figure out how to edit anything in this.

Not as advertised, printed pages are useless
Original: 02/06/16 I’m very disappointed after buying this product. The product claims that you can create from a blank canvas, but this is not the case. Trying to print is very strange. Look elsewhere for a OSX cross stitching software. Update: 12/07/17 After more than a year and a half later, the developer has responded to my original review written for v1.1. Maybe the updated version of Stitch Designer has these problems fixed, but I've been using MacStitch instead.

absolute garbage, worse than free programs
